Wraparound Care

We offer a cost-effective, reliable solution to childcare for before & after school.

"Staff ensure all children have plenty of opportunity to be physical and to be outdoors in the fresh air. For example, staff adapt the routine, to ensure that in the darker winter months children go outdoors to play earlier. They use the indoor space well to incorporate physical activity to help meet the needs of the most energetic children. "

Out of School Childcare

We offer a cost-effective, reliable solution to childcare for before & after school. Our clubs generally run from 7:30 am to 8:45 am and then again from 3:15 pm to 6 pm.

Our clubs follow the EYFS framework and include a range of planned activities, from cooking and crafts to music and IT!

Ofsted registrations & inspections run separately to the host school, and all bookings & payments are handled by our team.

The club runs independently and parents liaise directly with club staff, who have excellent communication with the school to ensure support is provided for each child across the school day.

A Typical Day

The day begins in the Before School Club where we have games planned to help children prepare for the school day ahead. The Central Team provides a breakfast of toast or cereal and fresh drinking water is always available. Once children have had some time to adjust to the day and have eaten they are ready for learning!

While KS2 pupils walk themselves to and from the club room, we employ a pick up and drop off system for EYFS and KS1 students.

We understand that after school, some children feel the need to relax or to use up some energy! As a result, children are given the opportunity of free play during each After School Club session as well as planned structured activities. A healthy snack is also provided to all children attending the after school club.

Information

Booking for Central Out of School Clubs for before and after school are made via the Central Coaching iPal portal, prior to the commencement of each half term. We understand that during the day, situations change and parents may need their child to attend the after school club session. In this case, parents should call or text the setting Manager (details are in the Club Handbook which is given to parents at registration) to check availability.

These foods are in accordance with schools healthy eating guidelines and are prepared to the highest food hygiene standards. No food which could provide a hazard due to allergies, is allowed on site. All food served throughout the week, is available to view by parents on request.

Of course! Each Central Out of School Club is registered with Ofsted on the compulsory and Early Years registers. This enables us to provide childcare for all children from Reception to year six at before and after school clubs, and from age three during the holidays.

All staff employed are fully qualified to Ofsted regulations, as well as reference checked and DBS checked with the company in accordance with safe recruitment guidelines. All staff have qualifications in First Aid and Food Preparation, and are highly experienced when working with children aged 3 – 11 in a school environment.
