Holiday Clubs

Each day is packed full of activities, with our team ensuring that all children have the chance to experience different sports and games each day.

"Staff encourage children to think about their good health. They discuss why children need to drink water on warm days. Staff are positive role models for children and consistently remind them of their high expectations for good behaviour. "

School Holiday Provision for Years 1 – 6

Central Education’s school holiday clubs give children in school years 1-6 the chance to experience multiple sports and activities. Central Education’s staff ensure that your child(ren) are entertained and taken care of in a safe environment by qualified professionals.

Our clubs are fully inclusive ensuring that no child is “left out” and they have the best experience during their time with us.

Holiday club staff also work term-time for either Central Education delivering PE & School Sport, or Central Out of School Clubs delivering wrap-around care.

We pride ourselves on ensuring that school holiday clubs are a stress-free solution for parents and maximum fun time for children!

Our affordable Ofsted registered Multi-Sport & Activity clubs are a great way for children to make new friends.

School Holiday Camp for Nursery & Reception Children (EYFS)

Our Early Years club is run by early years qualified staff who will take care of your child(ren) ensuring they are taken care of in a secure and safe environment where they can take part in activities specifically selected to engage children that are in nursery and reception years.

Each day is carefully planned, following the EYFS framework to ensure children are accessing stimulating, fun activities to engage in and learn at their own pace.

Our team will include lots of outdoor learning through play using imagination and exploring the physical environment.

Activities such as cooking, painting, crafts and music will all be planned as well as free choice activities like Lego and role play. The clubs are based in the safe & secure Out of School Club rooms.

All children will be assigned a key person, with parents being made aware of this on the first morning of attendance.

Our Central Out of School holiday provision is open to all children ages 3 – 5. Children must be dry and out of nappies in order to be able to attend.

The day runs from 9 am – 3:30 pm, with extended provision available from 8 am – 5 pm at an additional cost.

Our childcare staff will plan themed days and activities, in line with celebrations throughout the year, with activities designed to support all children’s learning.

Information

Booking for Holiday clubs are made via the Central Education iPal portal prior to the commencement of the activity.

Bookings can be made right up until the day before the activity, with the booking site showing how many places are available.

Children attending the holiday clubs will need a healthy packed lunch and a morning snack, with an additional snack if they are attending for extended provision.

Children will need to bring a labelled, refillable water bottle.

Children should wear active clothing and shoes. For our EYFS holiday clubs, we will do our best to ensure clothes are covered when taking part in outdoor learning, messy play and cooking activities.

However! Children may come home with a few splodges on their clothes from all of the fun they have had that day. Please send children with a coat as a bit of rain doesn’t stop us, and wearing sun cream with a hat in the event of nice weather.

Of course! Our Multi-Sports and Activity clubs are registered with Ofsted on the voluntary register, and our EYFS Holiday Clubs are registered with Ofsted on the Compulsory and Early Years registers. The only reason a club will not be registered is if it is only open for a very short period of time over the course of the year, meaning it is exempt.

All staff employed are fully qualified to Ofsted regulations, as well as reference checked and DBS checked with the company in accordance with safe recruitment guidelines.

All staff have qualifications in First Aid and are highly experienced when working with children aged 3 – 11.

Our EYFS Holiday Clubs are based in the Out of School Club rooms at each venue, which are set up specifically to encourage children to play, explore and have fun in a safe and secure space.

Our Multi-Sports and Activity clubs are based in the school hall, with access to the playground and field at each venue.
